Thank you very much for your ultra-quick reply, Michel.

Here is what I get:

$ dmesg|grep -e agp -e drm
[   11.552962] Linux agpgart interface v0.103
[   11.690298] agpgart-sis 0000:00:00.0: SiS chipset [1039/0648]
[   11.694348] agpgart-sis 0000:00:00.0: AGP aperture is 16M @ 0xe0000000
[   20.040512] [drm] Initialized drm 1.1.0 20060810
[   20.376932] [drm] Initialized radeon 1.29.0 20080528 on minor 0
[   20.891624] agpgart-sis 0000:00:00.0: AGP 3.0 bridge
[   20.891655] agpgart-sis 0000:00:00.0: putting AGP V3 device at
0000:00:00.0 into 8x mode
[   20.891661] agpgart-sis 0000:00:00.0: SiS delay workaround: giving
bridge time to recover
[   20.904897] agpgart-sis 0000:00:00.0: putting AGP V3 device at
0000:01:00.0 into 8x mode

I am completely new to Linux and do not know how I would need to go
about "loading the agpgart kernel module before the radeon kernel
module". Would you be willing to help me along?

Thanks,

Fred
