Thanks Alex,

I gave your atom-rework branch a try yesterday (last commit was c3fb8bb2... on
Tue Jan 6th) and am sorry to report that it didn't work.  It seems like the
enum for the encoder must be one as well.

I'll attach the xorg log file for starting up and shutting down the xserver
with it (xrandr claimed both LVDS and DVI-0 where enabled, but, as before, only
LVDS displayed any thing).
