only VGA possible on AMD64

Hi,

on Slackware64 (X.Org X Server 1.6.3, module radeon compiled for 1.6.2,
module version = 6.12.2) Ati RS690M (Radeon X1200) shows only 640x480
resolution on 1600x1200 LCD panel (Eizo S2000 - all data visible in
Xorg.0.log seems to be allright, but panel is considered 640x480 even if
specified by PanelSize option). Option IgnoreEDID more less fixes the
problem. No problem using i386 arch.

Sometimes there are little "sparks" +- pixel size. Gone after reboot.
