It might be possible audio chip picks up some interference. In particular
unconnected mic inputs are often subject to this, so try muting audio to see if
the sound comes from there. Otherwise I'm not sure where the sound could come
from - what you describe doesn't look like it could be "coil whine" (I don't
think that would happen with these low power mobile chips anyway).
