Bug#541235: xserver-xorg-video-ati: New unexpected lock-ups

Package: xserver-xorg-video-ati
Version: 1:6.12.2-3
Severity: important

Hello,

when I thought that everything was fine I had again these annoying
lock-ups and had to disable DRI.

Since nothing has changed so far I wonder why the lock-ups are back.

Yesterday night I just used my laptop with the battery and WiFi (usually
I remove the battery and plug it and I use an ethernet cable) to check
my emails and the X servers did not respond after about 30 seconds it
had been started. Today I tried with/without battery and/or WiFi with no
success.

Thank you,

Stefano
