Various problem with Ati XPress 200M [if OpenGL used]

I'm having various problems with Ati XPress 200M (screen blinking,
artifacts in OpenGL, some elements not shown in OGL-enabled apps[1]
etc.). It hasn't been problem until now as I haven't use OpenGL.

1. Which drivers are 'brand new' - i.e. should I use git-kernel or
git-mesa version to check if it is fixed?
2. How to detect where the problem is? I underspend that ATI XPress 200M
is both uncommon and unusual and probably my help would be needed.
