With 2.6.31-rc6 and xf86-video-ati 8fd6f69c84103b277de70181988e843da23c85b0 I
don't have the error about wrong EDID anymore, but I still get the wrong
resolution if the external monitor is plugged in when starting X.

I'll attach some new logs with KMS enabled.
