I might be able to have both Xv or XSHM with EXA but with XAA I can only use
Xv, because using xshm the videos become a slideshow :)

Right now I am testing Kwin with Xrender and OpenGL. The problem is that my
freezes occur quite randomly, so I can't tell for sure when a configuration
works stable.

can you think of an explenation of the CPU-Load issue? It was definitely the
process "Xorg" eating 100% (or nearly) of my CPU on EXA.
