X lack-of-stack-trace

While attempting to debug with gdb and help from agd5f on Freenode #radeon, X
produces a SIGSEGV and leaves no stack to trace.  Attaching gdb backtrace log
anyway.  I see one possibly useful error.

(I'm compiling with -O1 and -ggdb in CFLAGS.)
