Summary: Xv crashes with new common allocator
Product: xorg
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal

Component: Driver/Radeon
AssignedTo: xorg-driver-ati at lists.x.org
ReportedBy: daniel at ffwll.ch

Latest xf86-video-ati master git checkout crashes X when using Xv. Afterwards X
starts up normally again, so there are no persistent effects to the crash.

The whole xorg stack (xorg, drivers, mesa, drm) is more or less latest git

With git bisect I've tracked down the regression. It's introduced in the
following commit:
7daba77ded1c718e93ae8c372a39a6e85228d513 is first bad commit
commit 7daba77ded1c718e93ae8c372a39a6e85228d513
