My graphics card is integrated ATI Technologies Inc RS485 [Radeon Xpress 1100
IGP] and I'm using the open source radeon drivers from git. When I press the
keyboard combination Ctrl+F12 to bring up the Dashboard in KDE 4 (both 4.0 and
4.1 RC1) the screen first goes all white and only then the dashboard shows.
What should happen is that the dashboard should slowly fade in. I have desktop
effects enabled and I have to use XRender mode as the OpenGL mode doesn't work
on this card yet. The XOrg server is version 1.4.2.
