How about Option "DisplayPriority" "HIGH" (or "BIOS")?

That's not likely directly related to the problem.

These are available in the xutils-dev package.

unsigned long is only 32 bits on 32 bit platforms, you'd need unsigned
long long.

Does CARD64 get defined if you #include <X11/Xmd.h> explicitly in
radeon_crtc.c?
