Hey! I have the same problem. It seems to be the
b653e5a628bfa4dfb168e96f93f41eb910f409fb commit
(http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/?p=xorg/driver/xf86-video-ati.git;a=commit;h=b653e5a628bfa4dfb168e96f93f41eb910f409fb)
 that is the problem. I have the version from git running by reverting this
commit.
