Radeon 9600 S-video out: TVStandard ntsc issues

Hello,

I'm in the process of transitioning my mythbox (mythbuntu 7.10) from
ati's fglrx to the xf86-video-ati driver.  However for some reason the
new option TVStandard "ntsc" doesn't seem to be taking effect and the
hardware defaults to PAL mode (Black and White on a NTSC tv) (Note:
ForceTVout "true" works perfectly).

I'm currently running as of this email the latest trunk:
