EXA: OpenGL overlays always on top

Hello,

when using EXA (Ubuntu Gutsy, video-ati git master, R300, X.Org 1.3.0,
KDE), OpenGL overlays are always on top. For example, if I push the
glxgears window to the back, its OpenGL rendering stays visible even
though the window decoration is properly stacked back. Also, desktop
menus get immediately painted over. This is particularly annoying with
context menus in google earth, which are invisible as well.

xorg.conf options are at a minimum, PageFlip/Colortiling have no
effect.

Option "AccelMethod" "EXA"
Option "AccelDFS" "1"
Option "MigrationHeuristic" "greedy"
Option "GARTSize" "64"
Option "ColorTiling" "on"
Option "EnablePageFlip" "on"
Option "DynamicClocks" "on"
Option "FBTexPercent" "75"

Any clue, anyone?

Thanks
Marius
