Sure about that? I've never seen a CRT which has a 5:4 aspect ratio. Maybe they
exist as some specialty items but certainly usual (non-widescreen) crts are all
4:3.
And I'd have to agree default mode on CRTs should be any mode which uses more
than 60Hz. Maybe it doesn't bother you, but I know a lot of people (me
included...) which will get killed by the annoying flicker within minutes :-).
