I can confirm that the code in the agd-powerplay branch shows changes of
3-5 degrees Celsius between each power state, and that compiz runs
*much* slower at the lower states, so the code does what it says. If you
need this support *now*, I keep a rebased and up-to-date version of this
support in my repo.
