Some general comments, and 1280x1024 mode no longer available in 6.7.194

I'm still on 1.3.0.0, so I guess no EXA for me, right? I tried compiling 1.4 
today (on Slackware 12), but I'm baffled by the number of dependencies. I 
did get it to compile, but startx errored out, and then I gave up.

Ah... I guess this is where I find myself lacking in prior knowledge, I 
don't understand your comment. Well, no matter, I don't need rotation 
anyway.

The only question remaining is the loss of the 1280x1024 mode on this 
t43p, since 6.7.194. I'll try to make a detailed bug-report for that one 
tomorrow, with xrandr output, xorg.conf, and Xorg.0.log. Let me know if I 
forgot something.
