I'm not sure what TDMS i have. Benjamin said it was a Sil164 or compatible. So
i looked into the intel driver code which has sil164 support and used the
``recommended programming sequence'' as commented in their sil164.c
sil164_mode_set function.. With as only change setting register 0x8 to 0x3b as
final write instead of 0x31 (as OFW programmed it that way too)

Airlied started a branch to get sil164 support into the ati driver somewhere
last year, but the branch seems quite stale :(
