[Bug 12750] New: xrandr won't turn on second CRT screen

I'm using xf86-vdeo-ati-6.7.195 (r300). When I connect my secondary screen,
nothing happens (no change in Xorg.0.log. When I execute xrandr, I get:

However, as seen in the output, the screen is not turned on
