Right.  It's because your edid is bogus:
Image Size:  33 x 27 mm
your monitor is obviously bigger than that.
you should be able to override the display dimensions in the monitor section,
but that seems to be broken in the xserver at the moment.
you can also use xrandr to change the dpi:
xrandr --fbmm <width>x<height>
