I'm in ubuntu now, and I installed xserver-xorg-core-1.4-1 from debian unstable
and xserver-xorg-video-ati-6.7.194-1 from experimental

the issues are still here and the same:
- performance depends from cpu usage
- scrolling is really slow even without cpu usage (maybe because scrolling
highers cpu usage)
