Hi, not the original poster, but I believe I've got the same issue (my hardware
is a Lenovo T60; 2007-63G; Mobility X1400; 1400x1050 panel). Reverting that
change hasn't resolved the corruption for me. Can attach Xorg logs if another
set would be useful...?
