6.6.192 does something like switching, but does not really
switch resolution for CRT2. it seems odd that it only
shows 'Screen 0', while it should also show screen 1

Screen 0: minimum 1280 x 1024, current 2680 x 1050, maximum
3000 x 1200
default connected 2680x1050+0+0 0mm x 0mm
   1400x1050 305.0 304.0
   2680x1050 304.0*
   3000x1200 304.0 305.0
   2800x1050 305.0
   1280x1024 304.0

Additionally, it does not toggle clone mode (it stays in
clone-mode even after restarting the server)

is it already somewhere available as a .deb (for the easy
way;))?

packages ...

anyway thanks for your work!
