Summary: Powerbook DVI out only works when booted with monitor
                    attached
           Product: xorg
           Version: git
          Platform: PowerPC
        OS/Version: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Driver/Radeon
        AssignedTo: xorg-driver-ati at lists.x.org
        ReportedBy: sjoerd at luon.net
         QAContact: xorg-team at lists.x.org

When playing with the latest git of the radeon driver, i suddenly got my
DVI out to work! (which i never could get before)..

Unfortunately it only works if the monitor was attached during bootup as
openfirmware does some initialisation that xorg apparently doesn't.. When i
start
X when the monitor is attached after bootup, X thinks it's there but the
monitor doesn't detect any input :(

This is on a Powerbook G4 (PowerBook5,2) with an ATI Technologies Inc RV350
[Mobility Radeon 9600 M10] video card.

I'll attach the logs of both booting with working and non-working dvi output.
