There is experimental tv-output support eg. at
http://www.ece.auckland.ac.nz/~wsun013/tvout/index.html. Though it's under GPL
so it can't be incorporated into X.org unless you can get Federico Ulivi to
relicense the code as MIT/X11 (I don't know if anyone has even tried to reach
him).
