Summary: Radeon DRI, suspend to disk, resume -> system hangs
Product: xorg
Version: 7.2
Platform: x86 (IA32)
OS/Version: Linux (All)
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: high
Component: Driver/Radeon
AssignedTo: xorg-driver-ati at lists.x.org
ReportedBy: radimluza at seznam.cz
QAContact: xorg-team at lists.x.org
When resuming after suspend to disk with activated dri extention on Radeon
cards (R100 chips) system hangs (screen is black, system doesn't respond).
Without dri extention suspend to disk and resume works OK.
Tested on hardware: Mobile Radeon 7000, Radeon 7200 cards.
Tested on software: Xorg: 7.1, 7.2, Linux distributions: Kubuntu, Mandriva,
kernels: 2.6.17 (distribution), 2.6.20(distribution), 2.6.21(vanilla), "suspend
systems": swsusp(part of linux kernel), swsusp2
How to reproduce:
1) System with Radeon R100 card with running Xorg with dri extention
2) Suspend to disk
3) Start resumming
