I got a blade 2000 recently, with a nice XVR-1000 UPA gfx card. Since that has zero support, I put there a PCI mach64 card which I used to have in my old pentium-based server.
I'm using xorg-server 1.3.0.0 and the xorg ati driver 6.6.3, but I end up with this:
(... irrelevant stuff ...)
(II) Primary Device is: PCI 00:02:0
(II) ATI: Candidate "Device" section "Card0".
(II) ATI: Shared PCI/AGP Mach64 in slot 0:2:0 detected.
(II) ATI: Shared PCI/AGP Mach64 in slot 0:2:0 assigned to active "Device" section "Card0".
(II) Loading sub module "atimisc"
(II) LoadModule: "atimisc"
(II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers//atimisc_drv.so
(II) Module atimisc: vendor="X.Org Foundation"
compiled for 1.3.0, module version = 6.6.3
Module class: X.Org Video Driver
ABI class: X.Org Video Driver, version 1.2
(II) resource ranges after probing:

I heard there's some sort of x86 emulator to init video cards on xorg, but it doesn't appear to be used.
