Please be sure, that I do not believe that its simple (there are
72 comments for this bug :-). I can only add our observation and
share our experience.

Most of our cards are RV 280 (not 250) and some of them were
bought a few weeks ago (we buy them because they need no fan), so
probably are not an early revision. I checked they have the
table version 4, so the BIOS sequence is used for them (when
enabled). We have about 45 cards and about 2/3 of them (bought
from different vendors at different times) have problems when
the BIOS sequence is enabled. Whatever that means for other
owners of such cards...
