Summary: randr 1.2 chooses wrong default resolution on LVDS
           Product: xorg
           Version: 7.3
          Platform: x86 (IA32)
        OS/Version: Linux (All)
            Status: RESOLVED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Driver/Radeon
        AssignedTo: xorg-driver-ati at lists.x.org
        ReportedBy: drzeus-bugzilla at drzeus.cx
         QAContact: xorg-team at lists.x.org

After upgrading to a new fancy randr 1.2 radeon driver, I get the wrong
resolution in rhgb and gdm. When I log in I get the right one (gnome restores
my previous settings).

The right one (panel native) is 1680x1050, and the one chosen is 1360x768. To
make things worse, the panel doesn't like the mode settings chosen for 1360 as
the rightmost 50 columns are basically noise.

[drzeus at poseidon]$ xrandr

sorry, broken bugzilla gave the impression that it didn't actually add the bug.
