Summary: External monitor is tongled on/off on xrandr call (since
                    merge of randr-1.2 branch)
           Product: xorg
           Version: git
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Driver/Radeon
        AssignedTo: xorg-driver-ati at lists.x.org
        ReportedBy: mblaesing at gmx.de
         QAContact: xorg-team at lists.x.org

Hello,

the summary might sound a bit strange. This is what I see. When I invoke a
programm that uses xrandr (xrandr, grandr, totem), the external monitor seems
to shut-down shortly, then cames directly up again (no reaction on the internal
TFT).

I asume this happens, because/when the connectors are scanned for connections.
As I understand this is one of the differences to the old dual-head code.

Thanks in advance

Matthias

PS: This is an ATI 9600 M10
