The default, Smart. I didn't really observe any difference in workspace
switching delay between Always and Smart even when bumping EXA reserved
memory to 80Mb. Greedy however was noticeably faster.
Using a simple compositing manager "xcompmgr -n" didn't give any
significant improvements to Always or Smart but did improve Greedy a
little further.
(For Greedy, using "xcompmgr -c -C" for shadows was no different but for
some reason "xcompmgr -c -C -f" for fade effect even with nothing being
faded was a disaster.)
Anyway, I'll try with a window manager with builtin compositing and see
if there is any difference with those when switching workspaces.
