But in Windows and macOS the output will be <b>՛β. </b>Also, every key can be a dead key in Windows and macOS.</div><div><br></div><div>Second, it is not possible to define the following two sequences</div><div><b><dead_acute> <dead_horn> <Greek_alpha> </b><b> : "ἄ" U1f04</b></div><div><b><dead_acute> <dead_horn> </b><b> : " </b>̐ <b>"</b><b><br></b></div><div><br></div><div>In macOS, when a dead key is pressed and if there is no combination defined with the previous symbol, it enters a new dead key state awaiting another key to be pressed. That can be encoded in the XCompose table, yes, see for instance<br>
<br>
el_GR.UTF-8/Compose.pre<br>
<br>
that has the various dead_* combinations.<br>
