As you may have realized by now, gccmakedep is basically unmaintained,
but this patch seems reasonable enough, so I've pushed to git master
in case anyone else is still using it:

To ssh://git.freedesktop.org/git/xorg/util/gccmakedep
   a68b280..a66b5b9  master -> master
