Yeah, turns out that once you have a basic plan of attack, it's not all
that hard to just go fix all of them in any particular module.

The sad thing is that 'back in the day', Unix kernels *did* offer this
kind of standardized interface to input devices. Of course, being Unix,
none of them were the same. Sigh.

Thanks for making all of this work; I'm looking forward to seeing the
rest of this stuff land!
