No one is actively maintaining the package - people on xorg-devel put out new
releases when enough changes have been submitted to make it worthwhile.  We
generally recommend people use modern, maintained toolkits instead, such as
Gtk+ or Qt.

Having looked at the code, you now know more about it than most of xorg-devel.
If you'd like to submit a patch, you can send it here, following the guidelines
on http://www.x.org/wiki/Development/Documentation/SubmittingPatches

If you want to make sure the bug report is findable again in the future,
you can submit it on http://bugs.freedesktop.org/.
