Hi Sergey / James!

There is nothing in Xorg.0.log, but redirecting stdout/stderr
to a file shows the following xkbcomp output:

[...]
The XKEYBOARD keymap compiler (xkbcomp) reports:
 > Internal error: Could not resolve keysym XF86AudioMicMute
Errors from xkbcomp are not fatal to the X server
The XKEYBOARD keymap compiler (xkbcomp) reports:
 > Internal error: Could not resolve keysym XF86AudioMicMute
 > Warning: Type "ONE_LEVEL" has 1 levels, but <RALT> has 2 symbols
 > Ignoring extra symbols
Errors from xkbcomp are not fatal to the X server

BTW:

The Digital Equipment Corporation LK411-* keyboards
have an F20 key and they might be used with any PC as they
have a PS/2 connector.

I often see those keyboards still in use here in Germany,
a lot of companies selling furnitures use a system dating
back to times when DEC was still alive.

cu,
  Knut
