[PULL] XQuartz working again on master with these changes

As it's 2am, I didn't give it quite a beating, but with this last change, XQuartz finally builds again, and our favorite benchmark of GLX performance (glxgears) showed spinning gears, so I'm satisfied for now.

The following changes since commit fe07ec19e212a68076560d243a2a935c54589068:

  present: recursively set window pixmaps on flip (2013-12-10 14:16:42 -0800)
