No, filing more bugzilla reports just overwhelms us more and decreases the
odds we'll ever have time to look at any of them.  There are far more people
filing bugs against X than developers working to fix them.

There is no maintainer for XIM, and I fear, no one left who understands it.

I'll probably just push your patch when I have some spare time as it looks
reasonable enough, and putting it in is the only way we'll ever get it tested
to find out if it makes things better or breaks something else.
