It's up to the DDX to set these values. The Quarz backend pulls the
geometry out of the operating system and assigns the same values to the
X screens. kdrive lets the user specify the x/y values on the command
line. xf86 provides the 'absolute' keyword for specifying screen
positions.

So, I think we can pretty safely say that x/y are *not* always 0/0, even
though they probably should be.
