[PATCH 0/1] Pointer barriers

Embarassingly, I seem not to have sent this for merge this window.  Better
get that fixed.  This is a cosmetic cleanup from the version shipping in
Fedora 15 - mostly clarifying comments - as well as a port to the glib-less
test framework.

One notable thing not yet completely handled by this code is the numerical
precision issues Søren raised.  I'll happily fix that for 1.1 once I write
tests to cover it, but as a practical matter it seems not to occur, motion
events tend to be individually small so you rarely if ever hit the
complicated distance math.
