Hi Jeremy,

please consider 31704510f448706524b7b7085cc4ff0ada7bfe7e for 1.9.x, it
fixes nasty things for radeon at least. (Debian unstable) users have
been happy with it on top of 1.9.4, it's probably a good idea to
cherry-pick it in server-1.9-branch.
