It would be nice to know if there are still users of these features.
Otherwise it doesn't make much sense to do anything more than small
fixes. I've come to expect unusual things of a system that is almost
as old as i am (i was a baby when the first X11 was released and a
small child when xfree86 came into existence), but this i really did
not see coming. Fortunately these are the kind of things you can
disable if they are really not used :)
