Build error in new xf86-video-geode (from Git)

The same problem seems to occur in:

    driver/xf86-video-geode/src/gx_randr.c

Can anyone suggest a patch? The patch floating around on the bug
tracker seems to suggest it's okay to just remove the code. Does
anyone know if it is safe to just remove that code?
