dead code in build.sh?

Twas brillig at 14:03:12 22.09.2010 UTC-06 when matt at osource.org did gyre and gimble:

If something does not build without clear diagnostics it is a bug and
should be fixed. File it as a bug, brag about it on #xorg-devel etc.

CMake is not really different from autotools in this regard.

Makes sense if someone uses it for (well-working)
x-jhbuild/jhbuild/build.sh replacement.
