My version of fontconfig (2.6) does not have the "confdir" variable.
A comment specifying at which version fontconfig has this variable would
be useful.
In fact, I can't see this variable in fontconfig.pc in git master
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/fontconfig/tree/fontconfig.pc.in
I must be missing something.
