RFC: getting rid of Xalloc/Xfree/... in server

Twas brillig at 13:39:01 08.05.2010 UTC+03 when vignatti at freedesktop.org did gyre and gimble:

So there are easy ways to replace alloc and friends during compilation,
link and runtime. More than enough to experiment :)
