RFC: getting rid of Xalloc/Xfree/... in server

Twas brillig at 12:23:42 08.05.2010 UTC+02 when matthieu.herrb at laas.fr did gyre and gimble:

 MH> easier.

The much better way is to let the OS people solve this problem, and they
did already: there is huge pile of different allocators in the wild,
using both some kind of function overrides and custom compilation flags.
