Sent to the list. It doesn't strip the excessive quotes, but rather
uses the sysfs attribute instead of the uevent. I'm a little cautious
about what's going to happen out in the wild when people start
throwing weird devices at this system that worked under hal. But
fedora is probably as good a testbed as any and I think there we can
get the fixes in quickly if there are regressions. I guess I'd like to
see udev as the default now instead of waiting for the next xserver
series.
