[PATCH XTS 0/7] README misc edits.

3/7 may be controversial (and it's a tad over complicated) but I doubt we'll
get a real man page for each test case, so the README is as good as any.
Maybe we actually manage to keep it up to date. Please check through this,
as usual I'm pretty sure I forgot something with the automake foo.

Nothing exciting in the rest, just readme cleanups. 4/7 fixes out-of-tree
builds, also not likely to be the base for a movie.
